The Bridgeview Team

Steve May is the founder of Bridgeview Real Estate, previously MayCo Realty. Mr. May is responsible for the strategic vision of the company and has taken the lead on sourcing deals, equity, and debt for the Company through his diverse contact base. Mr. May also oversees the Company’s underwriting efforts and the strategic marketing and management of the firm’s existing assets. Prior to Bridgeview, Mr. May founded MayCo Realty. He focused on acquisition and development projects as well as distressed real estate transactions. Through MayCo, Mr. May worked on a wide variety of projects including distressed condo projects, multifamily acquisition and renovations, multifamily construction projects. He consulted regularly on real estate bankruptcy cases. Mr. May also Co-Founded EM Real Estate Enterprises (“EMREE”) which concentrated on the acquisition of single-tenant, credit lease transactions.

Prior to starting Bridgeview, MayCo and EMREE, Mr. May was a commercial real estate lender with over ten years of structured and project finance experience including over $2.5 billion in total transaction volume and was the top producer in the country at two different financial institutions. Through his years as a real estate lender, Mr. May developed significant experience in retail, industrial and multifamily construction, and investment. Furthermore, his experience in lending and vast contacts in the banking community has helped garner preferential financing terms for MayCo, EMREE and Bridgeview.

Brian Griggs joined BV in 2026 as the Chief Operating Officer of Bridgeview Companies. He leads enterprise operations, governance, and acquisition oversight across Bridgeview's affiliated entities and serves on the Executive & Investment Committee.

Brian brings more than two decades of institutional real estate experience across office, industrial, retail, multifamily, and luxury single-family assets. He has led cross-functional teams through every phase of the real estate value chain.  His career spans the full capital stack and investment lifecycle — opportunistic acquisitions, ground-up development, asset repositioning, joint-venture and partnership formation, debt origination and workouts, and third-party property management. Brian previously served as CEO of Crown Sterling Properties and was an officer of Wellington Realty and Ashland Greene. Brian also founded a luxury home development company and a seller-financed single-family platform. 

Brian holds a B.A. in Finance and Philosophy from the University of North Texas and a Texas Real Estate Broker's license. He is an active member of NTCAR, MetroTex, TREC, and CCIM, and has served on the Young Life Richardson Board and as a volunteer youth coach with SVAA in Richardson, Texas. He is a longtime member of Dallas Bible Church and committed to serving his local community.

Brandon joined BV in 2025 as our Director of Development for Bridgeview Multifamily. He is responsible for sourcing and delivering multifamily development opportunities in Texas, with a focus on identifying, evaluating, underwriting, developing, and disposing of them. Brandon has over 12 years of experience in the commercial real estate sector, with a focus on multifamily and senior living developments.

Throughout his career, he has assisted in the acquisition, development, and asset management of over 4,000 multifamily and senior living units, including over 2,500 in Texas. Brandon holds a Master of Architecture with a specialized concentration in real estate development from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in both Architecture and Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University.

Blake Pearce oversees all operations of Bridgeview Construction.  Blake was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and started his career in Australia. Blake began his construction experience in Civil Construction, working on major road and highway upgrades.  

Upon moving to the US, Blake entered into building construction working for Provident General Contractors for 8 years.  During this time Blake grew a team from 35 employees to 140 employees between 2017 and 2022 and oversaw more than $1.7B in construction volume made up of over 11,000 multifamily units, including Multifamily Garden Style, Wraps, Podiums, Mid-Rise and High-Rise projects as well as Built-To-Rent, Industrial, Office, Retail and Mixed-Use projects across Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.  

Blake graduated from University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia with a Bachelor of Engineer (Civil).  Blake is married with two incredibly sweet daughters and enjoys traveling and snowboarding.

David Gafford joined BV in 2018 and is responsible for all accounting, financial reporting and administrative functions for Bridgeview and its affiliates. David started his career in public accounting as an auditor with a regional Accounting Firm in Dallas, Texas with a focus on Broker/Dealers, Hedge Funds and Pooled Partnerships. David moved from public accounting to become Controller of a regional Business Litigation Law Firm. Subsequently, he joined the mergers and acquisitions group of a large public company that focused on the consolidation of specialized and flatbed trucking companies. David has over 16 years of accounting, operations, and financial management experience.

David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Economics from Austin College and a Master of Accountancy and Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.

Dave Castro joined BV in 2023 and is responsible for asset management and acquisitions for Bridgeview Real Estate. He brings over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate in various product types including industrial, multi-family and office. Dave has experience in investment analysis, leasing management, asset management, project management, acquisitions and dispositions.

Dave's experience in multifamily includes acquisition and disposition analysis at JPI and as a member of the Cushman & Wakefield investment sales team. During his tenure in the industrial sector, he managed a portfolio of up to 5M square feet and sourced and closed investments of $158M in acquisitions and $53M of development in Texas working for a publicly traded REIT, DCT Industrial, and later with TradeLane Properties, a privately held investment company.

Dave graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. double major in Accounting and Finance.

Nic joined BV in 2025 as the Controller for Bridgeview Construction. He oversees Financial Reporting, Job Cost & Project Accounting, Budgeting & Forecasting, Cash Management, A/P, A/R and Billing, Compliances, Controls, and Auditing for BV Construction and Developments.

Nic has over 15 years of experience in the Accounting and Banking sector, having managed accounting & financials for projects totaling approximately 500M from the North Texas to Austin area. He has previously worked on HUD deals with numerous Owner/Developers including Toll Brothers, Presidium, Trammell Crow, Slate Real Estate Partners, and Embree Group. Nic has B.S. In Accounting from University of Texas at Dallas.

Aubrey Ennis joined BV in 2021 and is part of the capital markets team aligning current acquisition mandates with sustainable growth initiatives. Mr. Ennis’s responsibilities also focus on sourcing of acquisitions, deal underwriting and collaboration between the deal team and capital partners.

Aubrey began his commercial real estate career at Marcus & Millichap after graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science & Mathematics.  While training at Marcus, Aubrey specialized in multifamily investment sales and preferred equity underwriting where he actively engaged with institutional clients, forecasting and facilitating their yearly investment goals, conducting exclusive dispositions throughout Texas and Oklahoma.

Dave joined BV in 2024 as President of BV Realty Advisors. He has over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate and prior to his current role, Dave worked at Colliers International, one of the world’s largest and most esteemed brokerage firms. During his career, some of his clients have included AT&T, Célanèse, JE Dunn, and Beauty Control. His diverse expertise includes land sales in Quincy, Illinois, industrial leasing in the Bay Area, office leasing projects across the United States, and the development of retail and industrial properties in Texas.

Dave’s ability to assemble the right team for each project is a hallmark of his success, enabling him to deliver customized strategies and outstanding results. Dave attended the London School of Economics and Political Science, in London, England where he received his BA in Economics.
